This long and deep journey had give us the strong desire to live in the present and in a better way, pushing us to dedicate ourselves in writing, but it has also fed forcefully the need to realize an help project to be sure our experience could become a support for other people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We want to give support in all the possible ways to people who lives the enormous suffering caused by disease's onset and its dramatic evolution, both to those who are directly affected, and to all who try to take care of them with their love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We immediately started to dream big, but aware of our littles resources, we decided to go on step by step, starting from this website, to give us the chance to tell about us, and allow to contact us all those who wish it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As soon as possible we would like to be able to find physical spaces, to organize meetings, also with comparison and comfort groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The final objective is certainly more ambitious. It's a great dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have learned so much from our personal experience and from the difficulties that we have encountered and laboriously took up, so we know that the decision to entrust our loved ones to an institute, when we have this chance, should be a serene and natural choice. It should make feel people in family and not put in front of a fork in the road, an existential crisis, requiring a drastic choice between sacrificing their own life to keep them at home or having them live elsewhere in order to move forward, but with the anguish and the guilt they feel abandoned. Incurable diseases are varied, but the pain of those who collides with this reality is always the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We didn't turn to an institue, but, for this, we have imagined to open, one day, a new structure, affordable to everyone, organized and managed in a different way. A place of care not only for disease, but also for souls. A true home for those hit in first person, and for those who live at their side in this very difficult path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We don't know wheather and how we'll do it, but to dream is for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So we dream loving care for everyone, made not only of medicines, but of smiles, hugs, caresses, and, above all, patience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We dream to transform all those small invisible hells, hidden among so many peoples' homes' walls, in a place, where, even if with the inevitable suffering, we may be able to \u201csmile through tears\u201d, to be near our loved ones, but also where we can get away with serenity, not being scared by pain, but letting it live with all the life's clours in a shelter without loneliness..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
